In what was a challenging encounter, the Diamonds Gold faced off against Charters Jades this week, a much stronger opposition with all players in Year 7. Despite the loss, it was fantastic to see that the Diamonds scored 11 goals—matching the total from last week against a weaker team.

This demonstrates the team’s consistent effort and determination to keep pushing, even when faced with tougher competition.

A huge congratulations to Hiba, who was voted Girl of the Game by the Charters Jades in her first ever competitive match! A truly outstanding performance, showing resilience and skill throughout.

The Coach's Award went to Flo Shortte, whose great attitude and infectious energy lifted the team's spirits on the court. Flo was relentless in her effort and demonstrated true Diamonds Spirit in every quarter.

Finally, Poppy was voted Players’ Player and was also awarded the honor of taking Kev the Koala home for the week. Her excellent shooting and fantastic movement in the circle were key in keeping the scoreboard ticking and ensuring the team remained competitive throughout.
